Archduke | Stellar Factory

Archduke is a fast-paced card game designed by Stellar Factory for 2-6 players, typically lasting 15-25 minutes and suitable for ages 12 and up. The game combines elements of strategy, memory, and light sabotage as players race through imaginary sand dunes and uncharted seas.

Gameplay

Players start with a 2x2 grid of face-down cards, of which they can initially peek at two14. The objective is to have the lowest score total on the cards in front of you at the end of each round1. This is achieved by:

★ Switching cards from the deck into your grid

★ Quickly matching cards from your grid to the top card of the discard pile

★ Players take turns drawing and discarding cards, aiming to reduce their score by getting rid of high-value cards4. Special action cards add variety to the gameplay:

Give: Allow you to give a penalty card to any player

Swap: Let you switch any two cards in play

Peak: Enables you to look at any card on the table1

Scoring and Winning

At the end of each round, scores are tallied, and players receive tokens based on their ranking. The game typically consists of four rounds, with the player having the lowest total score on their tokens declared the winner.

The game includes:
