About the Author
Frances Stonor Saunders is a British journalist, historian, and broadcaster born on April 14, 19663. She graduated with first-class honours in English from St Anne's College, Oxford University in 1987. Saunders began her career as a television filmmaker, producing documentaries for Channel 4 and the BBC5. Her 1995 documentary "Hidden Hands: A Different History of Modernism" explored connections between American art critics, Abstract Expressionist painters, and the CIA. Currently residing in London, Saunders continues to contribute to various publications and is known for her insightful work on cultural history and politics.
